Equality
At Alderbrook we welcome our duties under the Equality Act 2010. The school’s general duties, with regards to equality are:

The single Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) came into effect in April 2011 as a result of the Equality Act 2010. It requires public bodies to promote equality.
There are the nine protected characteristics under the Equality Act. We will not discriminate against, harass or victimise any pupil, prospective pupil, or other member of the school community because of their:

Religion or belief.
