Alderbrook PTA Summer Fair 2017
This year saw us have one of our most successful summer fairs to date. Not only did we raise an incredible amount for our school, we also had so much fun and enjoyed being a part of the great community that we have here at Alderbrook.
PTA Parent Ceilidh Night - March 2017
We had the most wonderful night bringing our parent community together for a night of music, great food and loads of laughter.
Festive Fair - 10th December 2016
We all had a brilliant day with what was our most successful Christmas fair ever! It was amazing to see so many parents getting involved and enjoying themselves as much as the kids were. Even with such a great amount of money raised, the most satisfying part of it all was seeing so much happiness in the children - and that's what the PTA are all about!
Summer Carnival - 25th June 2016
This year we decided on a Summer Carnival theme in line with the upcoming Rio Olympics. Despite the looming rain, we had an absolutely brilliant day with loads of fun had by all. In total, we raised £3162 during the carnival which will be put to great use to benefit the children of Alderbrook Primary School but most importantly, we continued to strengthen our wonderfully inclusive, happy and united spirit we have amongst our Alderbrook community. Thank you to all those that supported us on the day.
Heeling Soles - 10th June 2016
What a brilliant morning we had on 'Feel Good Friday' while supporting the Heeling Soles organisation. Everyone, including Suzie from the charity was overwhelmed by the amount of donations. She even struggled to get them all in her car! Well done Alderbrookers on your kindness and generosity. You make us all very proud of our lovely little community we have here at Alderbrook school.
Roof Terrace Project - 2015/2016
Turning the roof terrace into a productive space has been a vision of both Seana Henry and the PTA for some time. This school year, through support from our teachers, parents and local community, we have been able to bring our vision to life. This once empty and lacklustre space is now an inviting, calm, and creative place for children to learn and teachers to inspire. Special thanks must go to Beata Allen and Rachel Garrood (Alderbrook parents) for their incredibly hard work in making our 'Studio and Garden in the Sky' a reality.
